Grievance and Refund and Privacy Policies


Destination CEU, a Wyoming Corporation, (DCEU or Company) is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Code of Ethics and the American Counseling Association (ACA). DCEU will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content, and the treatment of program participants. Company will monitor and assess compliance with appropriate standards. DCEU will ensure fair treatment for all participants, respect their rights, and strive to anticipate problems. DCEU will do its best to anticipate issues and strive to alleviate complaints as quickly as possible when they present themselves.Grievance Policy


When a complaint, either verbally or in writing, is filed with Company, the following guidelines concerning achieving resolution should be followed.

  1.  If the complaint(s) relate to a speaker or workshop leader, the contents of instructional materials, or an individual educational style utilized, then the individual voicing disapproval first addresses their concerns to the presenter. If the presenter is unavailable, place their comments in writing. and Company will convey these comments to the speaker while maintaining the complainant's confidentiality.
  2. If the complaint concerns a continuing education activity, its content, level of presentation, or facilities in which the event is taking place. DCEU will try to resolve the matter as expeditiously as possible. If the offer is not satisfactory to the individual filing the complaint, DCEU will promptly contact the individual and attempt to reach a resolution.
  3. Upon receiving the complaint, a thorough investigation will be conducted, and a written resolution outlining the findings and the final decision will be issued within 30 days.



Refund Policy
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing within fifteen (15) days of purchasing home study programs. All purchases are final, and monetary refunds will not be issued. Every effort will be made to achieve a resolution, and final decisions will be issued in writing within 30 days of the refund requests.
Should any unforeseen circumstance arise relating to any of Destination CEU, Inc. Events that is unexpected and prevents DCEU from continuing with the event, DCEU may cancel the event. These circumstances may include acts of God, inclement weather, natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, or registration numbers below the minimum required for the activity, then DCEU we'll provide a full refund of the educational costs. Destination CEU will only reimburse the costs of its program and nothing relating to any travel costs or costs beyond the educational costs paid by Participant.
